Summary: 

RTES is a network of local authorities created in 2002, committed to supporting social economy around a governing charter. RTES is a prime example of how local authorities can organise themselves to support and spread the ideals of SSE. RTES's prime objectives are optimizing the role of public policies in the development of social economy, and ensuring that social economy has a growing influence in public policies. RTES contains 120 members from 8 regions of France, including big cities, metropoles, and small villages with 377 inhabitants. This organisation operates around a set of guiding principles, aka, a charter, that directs how the organisation should be run, how it should operate and deal with various situations.
