The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is in very poor condition, and young people are left behind because of lack of jobs. However, it is possible to change this situation through a social solidarity economy.

The Congo Civic Education Network (RECIC) promotes the Congo Social Solidarity Economy and advocates the development of this sector. The GSEF regularly organizes meetings to exchange experiences and supports RECIC so that social and economic actors can participate in international meetings.

The mission of the Congo Civic Education Network is to induce a democratic culture to settle among the people, to harmonize the emergence of democracy and rule of law in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and to encourage participatory cooperation in the region.

RECIC is also affiliated with the International Participatory Democracy Organization (OIDP).
