AVPN Asia Policy Forum (APF) presents this policy case study series, Pay-For-Success Models: Early Movers in Asia, on select PFS in Asia Pacific that AVPN members are involved in.
The series aims to provide a contextual understanding of the use of PFS in different markets in the region, specifically in India, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. As a follow-up to our Social Investment Landscape in Asia and in line with APF’s mission to develop an enabling policy environment for a high-impact Asian social economy, this series is intended for policymakers, foundations, impact and social investors, intermediaries, development finance institutions and other practitioners interested in implementing and supporting PFS. The objectives of the series are:
- To highlight the development of different PFS instruments in the context of the respective featured markets, with an emphasis on how cross-sector stakeholders collaborate.
- To provide useful insights into PFS models in Asia Pacific and how these models have impacted the respective social economies.
- To identify key learnings for different stakeholders. Emphasis is given to learnings that inspire effective multi-sector engagement and impact pricing and evaluation
