About GSEF (Global Social Economy Forum)
GSEF serves as a global solidarity network and aims for the multi-dimensional development of the market economy, public economy, social economy, and ecology. Through the collaboration between social economy organisations and local governments, the GSEF pursues the creation of quality jobs, fair growth, progress of grassroots democracy, and sustainable development.
The inauguration of the GSEF was started based upon the Seoul Declaration which was adopted by 8 local governments and 9 social economy organisations in the GSEF 2013 (Seoul, Nov 2013). GSEF will host its 4th forum in Bilbao, Spain from 1 to 3 October 2018 (www.gsef2018.org).

Timeline
Closing Date of Application: December 5, 2017
Interview: December 11~13, 2017, via skype or telephone. French or Spanish will be used as a main interview language. The interview time will be announced to the short-listed candidates in advance.
Duration of internship programme: 3-6 months

Working Condition
Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00, from Monday to Friday
Monthly allowance for internship will be paid based on the 2018 internal audit regulation of GSEF secretariat.
Qualifications
- Native level of French or Spanish to communicate with partners in French/Spanish speaking regions.
- Proficiency in Korean or English will be preferred.
- Understanding on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and experiences in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) such as SSE research projects, SSE international forums and events organisation and etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or master's degreee holder (or studuents who are currently pursuing their degree)
Responsibilities
- To assist the preparation and the organisation of 2018 GSEF Forum (www.gsef2018.org) and related events which will be held in Bilbao, Spain (Oct 2018).
- To assist the communication with partners and members of GSEF in French/Spanish speaking regions.
- To research SSE data and assist in writing a proposal for projects on social economy policy in cooperation with international social economy organisations and UN agencies working for social economy.
- Other paperwork and translation, etc.
