GSEF welcomes new members

We are thrilled to welcome 4 new members from Africa, Asia, and Europe to the GSEF family!



We invite you to learn more about the Lake Victoria Region Local Authorities Co-operation (LVRLAC) - Tanzania Chapter, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA), the Korea Social Value and Solidarity Foundation (SVS Fund), and the Union of Togolese Communes (UCT), and their activities - profiles are available in English, French and Spanish.


The announcement of Liverpool City Region's accession to membership of GSEF was made public by Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram last month, who highlighted the fact that LCR was the first public authority in the UK to do so:


To support the city region’s input into the GSEF, the Metro Mayor also established the Liverpool City Region Social and Solidarity Economy Reference Panel, and is inviting organisations and individuals from across the sector to express an interest in joining it.

Many actors committed to the development of the SSE sector in the city region welcomed the news. Rev Canon Dr Ellen Loudon, Mayoral Advisor for Voluntary and Community sector and Chair of VS6 (partnership of organisations supporting the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector across the LCR), said:
