GSEF honorary member professor Marguerite Mendell (Director and co-founder of Karl Polanyi Institute of Political Economy) is appointed as a new member of the Order of Canada on 30th June. The Order of Canada is one of the highest civilian honours in Canada and the Parliament of Canada recognised and appreciated professor Marguerite Mendell's life long dedication and contribution to the development of social economy and public policy innovation. Professor Mendell also heavily involved in setting the very foundation of the Global Social Economy Forum since the inception in 2013.
